The garment

An unstructured six-panel in the vintage dad-cap shape: low crown, soft front, curved peak, no stiffening. What makes it worth owning is the finish. The cotton goes through a double enzyme wash before it ever becomes a cap, so it arrives already broken in and keeps fading, slowly and unevenly, in the places your hands actually touch it.
